European contemporary blues artist, rooted in tradition and looking to the future
Blues sensation from Sardinia, Francesco Piu has been active on the international live circuit for more than twenty years, performing across Europe, Canada and the United States. Rooted in blues tradition but constantly looking forward, his sound combines raw energy, songwriting and modern influences. He blends a soulful voice with masterful guitar technique and a deep sense of groove. His latest releases, “Crossing” and “From the Living Room”, confirm an eclectic artistic vision that bridges past and future. Francesco mainly performs as a one-man band (vocals, guitar, stomp box, harmonica, washboard) or as a duo with a drummer, always delivering an intense live show.
