Reviews

The surprise is instead called Francesco Piu, with his eclectic and overwhelming acoustic guitar. Rhythm and groove. Impossible to listen to him while he was still: he inflamed the San Babila theatre in a few seconds.

Saturday, May 4, it’s the turn of Francesco Piu accompanied by Silvio Centamore on drums. He doesn’t have much time at his disposal, just over half an hour, but it takes very little to bring the audience into the concert. Beautiful guitar/drums dynamics and a repertoire he has mastered for years. His interpretation of “Trouble So Hard” is always very impressive, but also “Down On My Knee” and “Jesus On The Mainline” are very good. A successful introduction, which would have been nice to prolong.
